Ayuda Venezuela, Inc. (AyudaVen.com and AyudaVen.org) is a registered 501(c)(3) charitable organization and is approved by the IRS to receive tax deductible donations to the full extent allowable to each individual donor.  Its focus is El Hogar de Muchas Manos, an orphanage that provides housing, food, and values daily to over 200 children in their formative years.  Don't be confused by their sharply dressed and well trained exterior.  There is a continued and urgent need for program support.  Please read my personal story at the end of this page...

The orphanage details are:
El Hogar de Muchas Manos
CMDNNA registration 022.
RIF. J31469307-7.
Calle Marino, between Avenida BolĂvar Avenue and Carabobo.

How the funds will be spent...

AyudaVen uses monetary donations to purchase and send food to help children at the orphanage and support ongoing nutritional and educational efforts. In addition, local children, who’d otherwise go without food, arrive at meal time. Currently home to nearly 100 girls at times, Muchas Manos supports dozens of additional local children every day for lunch. Additional weekend programs bring more than 400 children to Muchas Manos for food, community, and fellowship. Sometimes the programs contain music and meals, but the organization always focuses on mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual growth.

The funds are needed immediately and 100% of net proceeds raised through Ayudaven will be used for purchase, boxing, and shipping of urgently needed food and supplies in support of the programs.

How funds from the campaign help...

We have volunteers from Venezuela originally, now living in Miami, Philadelphia, Dallas and Houston, that use the funds to buy food and supplies and to box and ship the items directly to the orphanage and arranging the critical transportation.  Since inception, many volunteers have helped to gather food, clothing, and supplies, but as always, no one is paid for their dedicated commitment.

The volunteers provide our organization with receipts and documents confirming the items shipped and all costs involved.  We reimburse the volunteers for their purchases of supplies and shipping costs only from the funds from this campaign plus contributions made outside of this campaign.  We will continue to support this organization and appreciate the additional reach that Amazon Smile, PayPal, Facebook, and gofundme brings to charity.

Who I am and where I'm from...

My name is Lisett Guevara Gulnick.  I was born in Valencia, Venezuela and lived there until 2010 when I moved to the United States of America.  I can be contacted at AyudaVen.org, 27 Kristen Lane, Mantua, NJ 08051.

My relationship and contact with the orphanage that we support...

I have been personally supporting this orphanage since 2005 with ongoing donations and periodic visits to encourage their activities.  The home teaches self-reliance as well as fosters a sense of community and giving in the children.  There has never been a time of greater need to show support for the people and especially children of Venezuela.  Your donation and ongoing support means the world to these children and will help the organization care for a growing number of children.

With love, hope, and charity,

The children thank you.

My Story...
A few years ago, a man who owned a bakery brought Christmas bread to this orphanage.  Seeing the place clean, bright, and the children well dressed and polite, he decided that they did not need his gift.  He instead brought the food to another orphanage that was in poor shape, where children were obviously in greater need... or so he thought.

He returned to the second orphanage a week later only to find his bread not touched and moldy in the cabinets of the second orphanage.  The disorganized orphanage had food and funds but was not well managed.

What he learned shocked him...
He returned to El Hogar de Muchas Manos directly after, sat down with its founder, and learned its story.  He discovered that the organization is led by a caring, strong, and bright woman.  The other committed volunteers at the orphanage have embraced the mission and vision of its leader and provide tireless service.

Patricia Rafachieri

Patricia Rafachieri founded the organization based upon instilling values in the children despite their economic hardships and broken families.  The children are shown by example to be polite and to pursue education.  They are taught business practices and practical concepts to prepare them for the real world.  They become a family...
